Laymen learn to read photographs the way they do headlines, skipping over them quickly to get the gist of what is being said. Photographers, on the other hand, study them with the care and attention to detail one might give to a difficult scientific paper or a complicated poem. - Howard S. Becker -

Who cares for a small flower? A crack in the sidewalk? An old building, which serves no purpose to society. But does it not? Does it not inspire a photographer? Does it not open up a world of possibilities?
Does it not make you open your mind? Or perhaps rethink your idea of 'beauty'?
Nothing, realistically, serves NO purpose to society.
One can believe that the perfect picture is all in the perfect props, scenery, camera.
But is it not, dear reader, what truly inspires you that makes a 'perfect' picture?
Let us rethink the word, 'perfect'. We, as humans, strive for perfection. But what IS true perfection? Is it even possible to achieve such a thing?
Perfection means something different to everybody.
What is perfection to YOU, reader? Perhaps a small flower, crack in the sidewalk, or an old building?
The answer is completely and truly up to you.
