That Girl - Poem
That girl.
I knew her of her.
Lost, afraid and slightly mad.
Voices.
I knew them well.
Never could they both agree.
The first voice tells her;
You'll never be loved.
Don't lie to yourself.
You are
Useless
Pitiful
Ugly
Weak
Nothing
What a burden.
But the second voice tells her;
You are loved.
Don't listen to him.
You are
Perfect
Amazing
Kind
Compassionate
Beautiful
The girl chose the first voice.
I should know.
That girl is I.
Today, and every other day
Ahh, love. Cryptic, beautiful, strange, new, exciting. It is my current inspiration, along with nature, to my art.
I haven't posted much for a few months, with all my distractions and such. And I hope that I will plunge back into photography just as I did a few years ago, when I realized that it was my passion.
